A new season is upon us and we’ve got the latest colours for the Autumn/Winter season. It’s been all a buzz on the catwalk as designers have been show casing their latest collections. And of course one of the most important parts of a new season collection is to get the colours right. This year the colours reflect an earthy and back to nature feel.

But it’s not all about the catwalk! These colours will soon be hitting the high street. Not sure where to find them? Well, don’t worry because we’ve got the definitive guide on how to get it right and wear to find these colours so you can make sure your wardrobe is bang up to date!

khaki cardigan1. Khaki

Staying in tune with military and uniform themes which have emerged this season, khaki is a huge colour this season. Khaki jackets and trousers are particularly popular. We love this cardigan from New Look (£18.00). It’s an easy Nude dressway to add a bit of this colour to your look.

2. Nude

Nudes are back this season. This dress is from The Vestry(www.vestryonline.co.uk) (£32.99). It encompasses both the colour and the hugely popular one shoulder look so we think it’s the perfect dress for those nights out.

3. GreysGrey top

Greys are supposed to reflect the grey sky at this time of year. But it’s not all gloomy! This top from ASOS.com (£20.00) is stunning. It shows off your figure and adds some glamour to those every day looks.black jacket

4. Black

Black is a classic that keeps coming back onto the catwalks. It’s hard to ever imagine it being out of fashion. This season coats hit our shops again and the weather starts to get colder. Staying with the military theme, this black jacket from boohoo.com (£40.00) is bang on trend and super warm for the winter!

Hot Trend: The Return of the Crop Top!

July 20th, 2010

Crop topMadonna made the crop top massive in the 80′s and it was a huge trend in the 90′s… and now it seems it’s back on the catwalks! Making a surprise comeback, celebrities such as Cheryl Cole and Pixie Geldof have been spotted embracing this trend. Judging by the reaction on the catwalk this trend is set to be huge this Summer!

The Highstreet is filled with these tops like this floral print crop top from New Look (£14.99). It might seem a scary garment to wear but we think it’s easier than it might appear.

Here are our top tips to wearing this trend:

1. Confidence

To make this look work you’ve got to be confident to bare some flesh- so don’t be shy!

2. Get the Right Length

This is important because you need to be comfortable to be confident with this look. If you’ve got the abs for it, go for short! But if you don’t want to reveal your whole stomach then try longer length cuts. You could even try cutting your own length to make it perfect!

3. Layers

If you don’t want to bare your stomach to the world then another fabulous alternative to this trend is to wear a crop top other a tank or vest top.
