Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon 55%, Shiraz 22%, Merlot 8%, Cabernet Franc 5%, Malbec 5%, Petit Verdot 5%.

Colour: Deep Ruby Red.

Nose: This complex nose opens with rich cedar and cherry aromas. Subtle white pepper spice combines well with a delicate floral and toffee component.

Palate: Engelbrecht Els has an extremely elegant tannin structure with robust mid-palate intensity. The wine also shows juicy characteristics brought about by the Shiraz component and a powerful finish.

Alc/vol: 15%.

Serving Suggestion: Goes well with most red meats and game, as well as with stews. Avoid too much spice, cream and salt, as well as smoked ingredients.
